Love when someone who earn 2x or 3x average salary advice to people who earn 30% – 50% of average they should safe for retirement and call it poor financial planning. Majority of people are not saving anything just because they have nothing to safe from.

I work with a lady who is 65yrs old and she has nothing for retirement. Right now she's working 3 jobs…I try to tell all the younger kids that start working with me to start a 401k ASAP and raise it up a little with every raise we get. Only a couple listen to me.
Maybe they shouldn't rely on social security. Also, when you think about it, she's kind of better off being with other people to help her do things. And have friends, but also because she's still working. She's gonna live longer because she has purpose
Ask how your higher up trash authorities and politicians are living though!!!
