This fella couldn't afford rent today on the career he had. He got rich being part of the system that made it that way. And now he gobs off about living below his means. Sir, you grew up in the luckiest generation in the history of the world and you spend your whole life saving. Could've had a great life and still retired a millionaire. Sucks for you. Most people don't get that choice anymore so don't gob off yeh?
Thats not rich. We do not care about 6mil saved after 45 years of working.
Every old person i know has a atleast 2 or 3mil in there pension plan. Not to mention social security. And 2 healthcare plans. Owning a home.
Both jobs they worked at. Don't give healthcare through retirement anymore. Nor do they offer a pension. The 401k is half as much as the pension. And you pay for half of it.
We care. About people making tens of millions a year. When the majority of there fulltime workers. Can't afford to own a house or have kids.
24% of jobs in America provide a middleclass income.
It was 61% in 1975.
The middle class peaked in 1977 in America.
My 401k. Has collapsed 3x in my adult life since 2008.
Saving money used to make sense. I tried to save up for a $100,000 house. I started with $5000. That was 10 years ago, now I make 3X as much money but my expenses have gone up 5X and the house now costs $400,000 and I still have only $5000 saved.
Pretty cool. Recording studio work must pay pretty good. I worked in a knitting retail shop. Retired during the pandemic at $15 an hour. Not an easy amount to live on, but easier than the Social Security one gets when that's the most you make. Save everything you can so you don't have to worry every day!

Who the hell wants to live below their means and spend none of their money until they are in high 60s or even older ur time has passed by then
Must be nice living back in the day when a house was worth two handshakes and a thank you.
if you make 10k a month you will need 100 months to get to 1 million, that is if you do not eat or pay any bills.

How do you actually live below your means? When minimum wage can't cover the basics.
All of these self made millionaires ALL got rich from the housing market.
ASK YOURSELF WHY HOUSES ARE SO EXPENSIVE AND THESE PEOPLE WILL BE THE ANSWER.
They're not evil, they're just selling to the evil people.
Billionaires are evil though
"Live well below your means" so… No heat, food and transportation other than walking?
No degree, working at a recording studio and somehow managing to be invested in real estate and have a $6 million net worth. Try that in 2025
2 seconds in I was deadass expecting “not 6 million I said $6” 😂

A pension would solve that.
Billionaires are the most likely evil people. Not people with 4 or 6 million.

Good luck with that in 2025
