I have been thinking about starting my small business for several months. Doing the research takes the longest. So I thank you for sharing your knowledge of ideas for women like me who is thinking seriously about starting a small business. Again Thank You!!!
This guy is an overthinker… he trusts too much in his own cleverness… but still gets scammed for a million… I dunno hes definitely good but theres probably better out there.
Thanks for this. As a retail investor I'm constantly chasing the hot stocks, falling behind in gains like somebody who takes bad drugs (i.e. chasing the dragon)
My dad was a piece of shiet. The only thing he left me was depression and the knowledge of how bad he was. If I have kids, I’ll at least leave them with a fighting chance instead of starting from nothing.
10:30 insightful take but the challenge of real world investing is that you can’t apply one set rules to decide on each business, businesses can have very different cash flows or growth patterns so it becomes untrivial to come up with criteria to evaluate the business
You can’t really dig into a company without looking at their financial statements and financial ratios unsure why you didn’t cover that. Best way to invest is to know how the company manages capital
great video! your example about "time in the market" missed the point. How big difference was the return for the person trying to time the market from the person who invested when market was up after say 2 years, 5 years, 10 years…etc.?
Though there is some merit in what he is speaking… he is mixing up investing in business by someone who has lots of money (like HNI) and normal retail investors who might just be investing in stock market… which doesn't make lot of sense!!
the AMOUNT of conclusions i just had thanks to this video is insane… again, CRIMINALLY underrated, and this should be on EVERY curriculum of EVERY SCHOOL, PERIOD.
TIME IS THE BEST BUSINESS PARTNER , PROBLEM IS , HE WORKS SLOWLY BUT WHEN HE STARTS, HE VERY FAST BECOMES THE BEST BUSINESS PARTNER YOU CAN EVER HAVE “Time is the best business partner: slow in the beginning, priceless in the long run.” Are YOU being a good partner to Time?
Thank you Lord Jesus!! After so much struggle, I’m finally starting to see some consistency. I still have a lot to learn, but the journey is teaching me patience and discipline. My advice to anyone starting out: study the markets, understand structure, manage risk properly, and stay disciplined before trading real money. Keep learning and never give up
I have a stock that has done reverse stock splits and done nothing but gone backwards for 7 years. YOU ABSOLUTELY ALSO NEED TO BE ABLE TO PICK THE RIGHT STOCK.
(14:30) Disagree on time in the market vs. timing the market. Warren Buffett points out that there are no called strikes in investing, but when you see your pitch, you swing big. In the mid-2010s, MF was cash flow positive and even though it was new and scary, I bought. In the last ten years, rents have nearly doubled, refinancing was as low as 3.365% in 2021, values have exploded, 1031 exchanges allowed me to upgrade my portfolio, and I’m creating tax-efficient generational wealth for my heirs. I spent my first twenty years as a cubicle dweller, and only entered the RE market when the timing was right.
I did put a portion of my portfolio into an annuity and am happy I did that. I think people underestimate the peace of mind you have knowing that you have that check coming in every month. It's money you have "permission" to spend, whereas money in your portfolio always seems a bit riskier to spend even if you have enough.
There is no wealth creation putting money into a ponzi scheme only those already mega millionaires or billionaires make money from the wallstreet scam wallstreet and the billionaires just want to steal your money.

I pray we live long to enjoy the work of time, fellow investors.
What is wrong with BTC or Gold? Both have out returned the stock market the last 15 years and it ain't close.
Big red flags
In this chaotic world one lunatic nuclear nation leader is enough to wipeout all our investments.
i kinda wanna cry because i feel like i just (finally, after being very unable to trust the investing advice out there) found my rich uncle
the AMOUNT of conclusions i just had thanks to this video is insane… again, CRIMINALLY underrated, and this should be on EVERY curriculum of EVERY SCHOOL, PERIOD.

I beg to differ. Once you understand what money really is, you will understand investing

I like the FOUR GOODS and the consequential FOUR rule of thumb means of comparable valuation for different investments. Thanks.

ETFs are kings! I do not pick stocks .

Try to never support Wall Street if you care about people or the planet .

5:25 Doesn't pref equity usually not have voting rights?
There is no wealth creation putting money into a ponzi scheme only those already mega millionaires or billionaires make money from the wallstreet scam wallstreet and the billionaires just want to steal your money.
"Time in the market" mostly benefits company stocks and investment advisors.
And stop voting for politicians who obsess over "millionaires and billionaires", and who talk about taxing "unrealized gains".
You cannot complain if you put people like that in power.
❤
In this video Sharram present some sound principles that sound safe and potentially profitable over time, generally meaning.

Video is good but Preferred stock doesn’t have voting rights.
I'm sure the guy that ripped you off was "Good People"
Everybody speaks but still don't understand a thing
