In my simple mind, if AI takes over the job market, we get lazy, stupid and greedy. Whilst we are fighting over material things and killing each other in Wallmart, the AI creates famine and nuclear war, which kills us off.

It's hard to take him seriously.
To many of his claims are "could be", "might be", very debatable trends of thought.
That said, he provides some excellent food for thought.
