Sachs is obviously not aware of history regarding WW1. He thinks Germany went to war for NO REASON! (Barking mad). An unbelievable misreading of history. The Bismarck unification of Germany ushered in the second Reich. After the first Reich they wanted to be like the other coloniser imperialists, like in the bad old days. And Reich 3? Well, work it out . These numpties can't.

Sachs gets it wrong when he says from 1815 to 1914 Europe avoided war. If only. Historians come out with that nonsense too. There were at least 4 wars and all the battles of 1848, the class struggles, and all that the Europeans did around the world. Germany was late to the colonialism playbook, missed out greatly on the scramble for Africa and made a right mess of it on southwest Africa (Namibia) with two genocides as they had no real experience of colonialism.
