I had an Aunt who was wealthy..and when she went shopping she dressed down. She and her husband never bought a New Car..but used cars were their preference. She didn't flaunt "brands" to impress.! She was extremely charitable sharing with others selflessly..so she had the truest wealth..love of others.
I know this video is about signs of wealth, but I would have made number one financial literacy. The wealthy understand how to manage money. How to manage their budget? And all the things later in your video that they speak about coincide, with that lifestyle, no, your number's first and then live within that #.
I am self-employed. A number of years ago, I decided I no longer have time or inclination for housecleaning. I have a housekeeper. She comes monthly and cleans. I refer her to my friends. She has been cleaning for me since 2007. She is worth every penny I pay her. I do garden however, as that, unlike housecleaning, is therapeutic. I have a CPA do my taxes and have offloaded other chores to professionals. For example I detest clothes shopping. I work with a personal shopper, She does all the heavy lifting plus alterations and I like my clothes better as a result. I buy less and keep my clothes longer so I save a lot of money. I recommend this approach. It allows me to focus on what I enjoy doing. I also collect art. Frankly, I couldn't care less what anyone else thinks about me, and that has given me the freedom to pursue my true interests.
Not only do the 30K “Millionaires” in luxury cars look desperate, but they say people who drive those types of cars are also trying to compensate for something else winkwink
Hmm, just based on the three E's, I can see why now many people make the assumption that I have a lot of money. I'm poor, but I do decent budgeting. I also don't judge people based on their financial status.
I don’t no why evryone says ‘fully paid off’ if my dad ever bought a car he literally just transferred the money and that was it and he never seemed particularly rich.
Stop it! There is no such thing as being "secretly wealthy". If you own a home anywhere near a large city or on the coasts of the US – you are WEALTHY. If you don't go to work every day, you are WEALTHY (or really poor). If you take an international trip lasting more than a week – yep. WEALTHY. If you car breaks and DON'T have to buy a bike or ride the bus because you can afford to fix it or buy a new one = wealthy. Remember kids, Yesterday's middle class is today's RICH.
Some rubbish there bud. Wealth allows for quality, whether that be in clothing, accessories etc. However they are not in your face branded. What wealth doesn’t give you is class and humbleness, that is what is missing from many. And yes I have done ok. And as for this 🐂 💩 about wealthy people wearing scruffy outfits is ridiculous, it just brings you back to class.
BRO where was this book when i was 18. Smart Broke Dumb Rich by Zor Veyl. school taught me how to write a resume and then shoved me out the door like that was enough. not ONE teacher ever explained how interest works, or debt, or what owning something does for you vs renting your whole life away. leverage? didnt even know the word til i read this. and all of it runs your future whether you understand it or not. youre playing a game nobody gave you the rules to and then they act shocked when you lose. read the first few chapters and just felt this slow burn like wait, was this kept from me on purpose. anyway read it.
Before I started receiving higher earnings my natural response to “How are you?” was “I’m good”.. I use the same exact response now only difference is I’m not lying 😅
Yup and they dress mediocre most of them do. There's also millionaires who dress flashy.
But I do agree they dress very simple to the point it looks like a no brand but then you know theyre wealthy when you look at the settle Rolex to their wrist.
Are younger generations are being dumbed downed by current education. No child left behind pushing through kids that are unable to make change for dollar, write a sentence, and future parasites of government that cant control spending.
at time 3:15. Inflection point is where the graph changes concavity. There is no change in concavity on the shown graph so there is no inflection as stated.
Segment 2 is not accurate on what the wealthy do… but rather… how to obtain wealth on your journey from nothingness… but even then… newer cars come with insurance for the year free… or extremely low cost insurance… making it more viable to get the new car with trade in options over time
Rich people are selfish in a good way. They take care of themselves first. They don't feel guilty for doing it. They don't care what you think. Who are you?
i drive a rust bucket and wear secon-hand clothing….so i can afford to work only part time. i´ll never be 'conventional rich', but for me to have more time for family, friends+hobbies, thats true wealth
my indulgence is cars, just a car guy who loves a hot ride and I have a few, one worth over a million. It's a piece of art to me that is fun. many of my collector friends at car shows are fairly wealthy but very humble and down to earth. We all know each other and know why we're there. On the other hand, the spectators who come to look at the cars are always asking what it's worth and that's bad taste. To them our cars are bragging items, to us, just a fun ride. And we don't wear designer clothes, just jeans, shorts, t-shirts. I have a brother in law back east who is obsessed with rich people and it drives him crazy to know what some of my rides are worth.
People always talk about their luxurious Miami vacation because the city is all new money. The people there brag about their rental Ferraris but they take a loan just for the rental. Los Angeles, home to 5 of the 10 wealthiest ZIP codes in the US, looks like shit and the people always talk about how bad it is. Yet it is the region with the most money resources talent and stability in the entire planet
I ride a bike and I don't own a car at all. My neighbours think I am unemployed which is true. I retired at age 35. I also sleep in a tent 8 months out of a year. I simply enjoy being outdoors than staying in my apartment. My hiking gear is very worn out since I use it so much so strangers think I am homeless lol. I could buy new gear but I also consider the enviroment reasons.
People who have money just do. They're not flashy or tacky. I've found it's the people who aren't rich who like to pretend they are. It's so cringe 😬 If you don't have mental & physical health, you will never be wealthy.
These last days i was so nervous think about the inflation and crisis, im so glad i managed to find a way to make some profit out of this situation, for public utility, the video that teached me is public and is named “How to Profit in the Financial Crisis by Michael Thompson” 🚀
I Think stealth Wealth and Wealth minimum is for a certain personality type. I don’t think all wealthy people don’t show flash. There’s plenty of wealthy people that are rolling in Rolls-Royce and flying around and jets and they are not over extending themselves because they are extremely wealthy. But you do have the speakers who will go stand by it yet and take photos and rent a Rolls-Royce for a wheat or lease it knowing they can’t afford it and then show it on Instagram and YouTube. But the true billionaires I’m pretty sure they got a Rolls-Royce park somewhere.😂😂😂😂 but I do agree that a lot of these regular people the middle class are out buying $50,000 purses that they can’t afford Gucci and Louis Vuitton Chanel and driving home to a cheap apartment or a bad neighborhood and these are the people that get their hair and nails done every weekend and go overboard with everything they do. The wealthy may be wearing $1000 pair of jeans, and a $200 black T-shirt but they look very basic man. Nobody really noticed what they’re wearing is expensive. It’s just that they show CLASS more than those who are trying hard to be rich.
The 20 minutes spent on a power bank isn’t about value for money, it’s about buying quality as a proxy for time, the one asset that you can never get back. Dealing with the research once is always better than dealing with a product failure, and then doing the research anyway. It seems dumb for a $30 item, but as a philosophy, it’s an invaluable habit!
Everyone should do this, regardless of wealth. For people without any wealth, the philosophy costs a little more up front, but ultimately saves money by not having to buy everything multiple times until you luck out and get quality.
as a rich guy, i drive a 07 sonota, use iphone 15, and buy clothes at kohls clearance rack. most of my money is in stocks. i only have like 5k right now in my checking account. rich stay rich by acting poor

Excellent assessment Humphrey and certainly correct in my view.

Quiet millionaire usually hit $1 million in net worth at age 49 – based on study

Yilong Ma 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I think I realized I was a millionaire when 90% of my clothes were from Costco! No seriously!

If I see a hobo looking guy in C suite then I know he is the owner of that company.
Wow 5 year mark is when it has had majority of its depreciation done. Is this rule applicable in the UK?

Actually rich people don’t go to Starbucks and pay $15 for a cup of coffee. 😂😂😂
Literally 100% I love living simple man
One of the ways I distinguish myself from others once my basic needs are met is to spend every cent I have buying the total world market.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with buying a new car… That you then drive until it hits 200k miles.
Before I started receiving higher earnings my natural response to “How are you?” was “I’m good”.. I use the same exact response now only difference is I’m not lying 😅

2:17: they drive whatever is suitable for their occasion…
Some wealthy guys are wealthy due to selling their lifestyles…
Some give honest value
Rich people are selfish in a good way. They take care of themselves first. They don't feel guilty for doing it. They don't care what you think. Who are you?
so i guess people in monacco are broke
“Most millionaires or multi millionaires” are genuinely terrible people fucc them lol.
hina and russia shows they lastest weapons in parades daily, the US tries to hide every single one of them, who is wealthier?
i drive a rust bucket and wear secon-hand clothing….so i can afford to work only part time. i´ll never be 'conventional rich', but for me to have more time for family, friends+hobbies, thats true wealth
Lol 2:17 such a lie dude
The people I know that are worth tens of millions happily drive rolls Royce’s and Ferraris 😂😂😂
This stigma about rich people driving broken down cars is the stupidest thing ever
Beaing wealthy to me is about freedom not things

If I was a millionaire or billionaire I’d do my best to keep it secret too. Less headaches less gold diggers less bs
You honestly believe mimicking me will make you or anyone else rich?
Either that or you're a bold-faced liar.
WOW

My wife and I are still working and in the top 4%. I drive a 27 year old car because I like it.
