A Confession: I got a credit card from a fancy store, and I was shopping there, so I owed them $5000. My husband gave me $5000 to pay it and I went there, but instead of paying the card I did more shopping. 🙈🤦♀️ I lied to my husband that I paid them. Later, he find out and I lost his trust. It all happened in 2017, I am still feel embarrassed. I did self- reflection and self -improvement to become a better version of myself. Now it’s better. Just one bank credit card and no other debts. Videos like these helping me to stay “sober” cause I am a shopaholic.
sitting here with $1000 in collections currently thinking i messed up big time (i certainly did and i am paying it back) and there are really people out there with over $100,000 in credit card debt alone which is literally 100x what I thought was already a major problem. i am so thankful i started on my path to financial freedom when i did. i NEVER want to end up like these people!
I have no emergency fund and 24k in student debt and that’s it. But I have a pension and a 457 deferred comp account I put 28% of my paycheck in every month and retirement security is a rare thing for my generation and younger so I feel okayishhhh
The fact we don't teach financial basics in the public school system is insane. There is an incentive in keeping human beings ignorant as to how to budget their money and live in a commonsense manner for those that make money from the ignorance of the public at large. An individual who is financially ignorant tends to be dependent on the government. As a result, a financial slave to the government is then created. Wisdom is power when it comes to finances.
I buy a off lease or left over at the dealer for cash. My one car it was a off lease two yrs old I did finance the interest was 5% I paid it off in two yrs and trade it in and they gave me $10,000 for it. I think I only paid $12 for it with my down payment .
I hate that if someone says they moved in with their parents he acts like thats insane. If you have that support system and can save the 3k a month or whatever it is no shame.
Why would anyone willingly go on this dude's podcast is incomprehensible to me. Maybe there is a plan of action for the interviewees that I've never seen, since the rage and shame scenes are all I've ever seen clipped from his channel because those clips are more engaging. I hope dude is giving them actual assistance rather than just telling them how shitty their past actions were. The least dude can do is plug their business in exchange for the berating he dishes out to these people if he's not providing any value to their lives. And, yes, I can understand opening these peoples' eyes to the reality of their situation being "valuable", but even loss of ignorance is not going to change the entire debt, especially since what most of purchases that accrued the debt likely have depreciated by ~50%. Either way, bro knows how to bring in the views 😂
I hate to see people keeping track of the balance only online. They say I still have $700 I can spend while not remembering that auto payments are still coming out. So they end up getting overdraft fees. Digital banking is making generations blind to the actual spending. I think it was better when you had to write it in the check registry. Then again , some people were too lazy to do that too.
I do home loan financing and I see & know everything about clients. Some make really good money and have no savings to show for it, maxed out on credit cards. Other clients I help, clean hotel rooms for a living but able to buy multiple homes, paid off mortgages and debt free. It’s not how much you make but how you spend/save. Live below your means, have emergency money saved, actively contribute towards retirement, stop trying to keep up with the Jones’ and find good deals/alternatives on cars/electronics online or buy used/refurbished.
Watching these videos I am so glad I made the choice not to have credit card and to pay for things up front, yes I drive a older car but it is paid for and reliable also I owe no body any money
My husband makes 120k+ and barely spends money. I told him buy himself a new video card lol. He refused to buy he latest one saying it wasn’t worth the price lol. Then we sold his previous card that was SEVERAL years old on eBay for $200
These scumbags are waiting for their parents to die. My mom is banking on my grandma to die. I focking hate it! People are sick, twisted and delusional. But in the end they’ll get what they want.
Life insurance is lucrative they ll try there hardest to not pay and if so it ll be for the medical bills , funeral cost etc is rare u get actual cash from life insurance
In the early 80s I had a credit card and spent up to the limit of £2000. I transferred the debt to another brand of credit card with an interest free period and paid it off before the interest free period ended. Never had a credit card since.

Note there all over weight…..
5:55' Lets start with the nose ring….
Nice hat
Caleb is wonderful.
Funny you're talking about gambling cuz I do that too.
I save my gambling winnings and brought a car in cash .
I have a budget a account just for gambling.
Well not now I retired
Save all year to just gamble on vacation cruise. Gambling on the cruise means they will send me free cruises.
Gambling was my life not going in broke but
Going to all the casinos to get my gifts and comp stays and dinner.
Now I only go holidays or if my family wants to go.
I buy a off lease or left over at the dealer for cash. My one car it was a off lease two yrs old I did finance the interest was 5%
I paid it off in two yrs and trade it in and they gave me $10,000 for it. I think I only paid $12 for it with my down payment
.
My sister was so frugal and basically lived a no spend minimalist lifestyle.
She passed away suddenly of an aneurysm she left my grown kids everything.
I did all the funerals in the family I know they're like around 12 to 15,000
I start going over her paperwork.
I start going over my sister's things she had savings she had stocks and two life insurance policies.
not to mention her company donated either 5,000 or 10,000
she walked around in the same old clothes she never did her hair so I think her job thought she didn't have anything.
I think her co-workers did the GoFundMe but the job matched it so she had a decent employer.
my daughter was a beneficiary.
She left my daughter over $100,000
My son got about 20,000
her goddaughter was named I think she received from 5,000
They got mad at me thinking I wanted something.
I've never came to anybody for any money God bless.
Now my brother did die a month later. My daughter did pay for his services and we didn't have anything but it was about $3,500 to cremate him.
I laughed out loud cuz I knew they wouldn't have a penny they would blow the money.
My son got evicted my daughter couldn't afford her house she did sell it and she made a little profit.
I'm trying to tell her put that money in the bank do not spend that money you'll need that on the down payment somewhere.
Cuz you can't get apartment apartments 2,500 to 3,000 it's cheaper to buy another house.
I hate that if someone says they moved in with their parents he acts like thats insane. If you have that support system and can save the 3k a month or whatever it is no shame.
Banking on someone's death in order to pay down your debt is one of the most disgusting things I've ever heard.
Our POLITICIANS are the biggest FRAUDS and they get away with it. Let these people fraud away 😂😅
It looks like fat people cant control their spending..
I always feel better about my finances when I watch these videos… 💸

My student loans for 4 years are less than that lady's 17K in one month😮

2:05 As a black man, there are other blacks who GENUINELY believe wakanda is real, so doesnt surprise me.
And I thought my $800 credit card debt was scary
