Just a guess here, but if he had it built, did he have it built as cheap as possible like most "investors" do. Cheap everything and then you find out it is not so cheap to fix a cheaply built house.
You want to live in one of the US best cities, ya it’s gonna cost you. People who live there appreciate what the city is doing. I am an engineer who does permitting, and I can tell you 100% sure you DO NOT want to buy a property that has inspection issues
Maybe we shouldn’t be buying a single-family homes in mass and renting them to people for a exorbitant rates. It’s almost like all of these regulations are designed to force landlords out because people should own their homes not some shadowy corporate or shadowy individual man.
Well if multiple inspections uncovered issues that needed repair upon discovery, then it’s your responsibility as the owner to correct those issues or you may very well negotiate with the buyer. It’s the fair thing to do!
It's hard to feel bad when you see a millionaire buying properties that they will slap some paint on and rent out to people instead of leaving it as an affordable starting home for a family.

Oh No! A landlord has to actually invest time and money into maintaining the property and keeping it safe and livable. That poor, poor thing. 🙄
If only he could just continue doing nothing and getting paid thousands every month for it. 😢
The empire has too many parasites.
lol this is the dmv equivalent of trying to get back a revoked liscense
When they make so many rules that everything becomes either illegal or cost so much in time and money it's not worth it.
Pretty much California
Hahaha bro went cheap on the contractor and architect, and is mad it didnt get built to spec and code
Its cali not fl
Good
Awww poor landlords! Won't anyone think of the landlords?
Honestly should have used a better contractor
California is such a clown show, will never grasp my head why someone wants to live there,
dude had his eyes opened up to how liberal policies work in the real world lol
Sell that jacket while you're at it.

Please leave…. And don’t come back
Watch who buys it off you. It will be someone out of that inspector’s office
Someone that wants to make it a home wouldn’t see the problem. You want 60% profit every time all the time.

And this is why CA is failing at life
Oh look, the parasite need to actually do some work around the house instead of milking the tenant
Shedding a tear for all of the impoverished landlords out there.
All of that and the upgrades a landlord who’s been in the clear does is a shitty paint job and a carpet cleaning
