It's time for Yahoo Finance's market minute. Stocks are falling with Walmart weighing on the Dow in particular, following a disappointing earnings report. Jobless claims data also hitting their highest levels since June. So that's a factor in what we're seeing in markets today. Tech stocks are still under pressure as well. Palantir saw slight upside earlier in the session, but it's edging lower once again, potentially heading for its seventh straight day of losses. The company's already lost over $73 billion in in market value. And meanwhile, short sellers made about $1.6 billion in profits as AI fears rippled through markets. That's according to data from S3 partners. Surapta therapeutics announcing a deal with investors to restructure about $700 million of debt. The company warned in filings earlier this year that it may not have the cash flow to pay those obligations, which were due in 2027. In the new deal, Surapta will push back some of its debt maturities by three years in exchange for cash and shares, which could dilute the stock. Surapta shares down almost 6% on that news. And that's for Yahoo Finance market minute.
