Walmart's strategy to grow a loyal customer base amid industry slowdowns
This latest move is part of Walmart's evolving strategy to grow its membership program, build a loyal customer base, and boost sales.
Since launching in 2020, Walmart+ has grown steadily, with its membership income growing by double digits in the first quarter of 2025.
