On any given day, traders often choose between growth and value stocks. Not today.
Growth stocks and value stocks were both leading trades on Wednesday, as evidenced by the outperformance of the Invesco S&P 500 Pure Value ETF, up 1.2%, and the Invesco S&P 500 Pure Growth ETF, which was also up more than 1%.
The Dow was up 467 points, or 1.1%, while the S&P 500 was up 0.6%. The Nasdaq Composite was up 0.4%. The S&P was on track to build on its record from yesterday, while the Dow and Nasdaq were each within striking distance of their own milestones.
