Im a preteen and i sell earrings. I recommend getting a scale in grams to put in your website how much the weigh and PLEASE state the material because some people can be allergic and thats a lawsuit waiting to happen!
I am thinking makeing soap and geting some coins are the best things to do as a 10 year old so that when I go to carins bowling I can use the coins I got from my soap stand

You also need to worry about marketing, quality control, expenses, shipping costs, and most importantly- taxes. If you are under 18 your parents would technically own the business and once you turn 18 you would basically have to start over, so it’s best to wait. Also owning a business means you also pay business taxes. i am not sure what state you live in but each state has a limit, and mine is $200 I think, once I reach that limit in a year I must pay taxes. Please educate yourself and get help from an actual adult or else you could get in big trouble with the state or be in debt

Just a tip : making candles is easier than making soap, the materials are medium to expensive in both crafts, but in soap you have to make sure of allergies and stuff (i don'tmean rare ones i mean common ones that are found in every friend group etc..) and its mold and packing so it's hard
Candle making is hard too but it's still easier than soap making that's why you would find some soap makers online doing candles too cuz it's easy to them
(Put in mind that when you add some types of fragrances to soap or candles the fragrance could change the color of the mixture a bit)

And especially children. They dont know if they can wear fake gold. And i dont reccomend risking it. So please be careful with what idea you are giving because it might ruin some idea and if the infection is too bad there is a chance you might get sued because of the damage.
