It's an Indian obsession with just pure gold jewellery that makes purchases overwhelming, unlike you see in other countries where silver or other metal with gold finishing sells better. You can have all good looking designs with it at an affordable rate .
If you open just a price capped store it would just turn up perceiving like some high end 'fancy store' rather than a jewellery store.
