ON MY SONS GRAVE, I LITERALLY JUST CUT MY “Credit one” CARD IN HALF!!! WTFFFFF!?!? I have a $400 limit and I use and pay off use and payoff but I AM DONE! My credit score is ALMOST over 700…. Took me less than a year to get there but FFFFFFFkkkkkkkk credit one! 😖😖😖 YOU ROCK CALEB!!!! ❤
Is born at a time when being wealthy is the easiest it’s ever been but somehow fucks it up. Genuinely don’t feel sad for this guys, you have to actively make an effort to be this poor at that stage of life.
what happens in the US if you just dont pay your unsecured debts? Im in the UK and had about £20,000 in credit cards and bank loans. I just stopped paying them and nothing happened. They used to send me letters saying they were going to take me to court but none of them ever did. Eventually the debts got sold to debt collectors but all they did was send me letters and call my phone all the time. Obviously my credit rating was ruined but after 6 years all records of the debts dropped off my credit file and i now have a good credit rating again.
Legit question: in these situations, why isn't the standard advice to go live somewhere cheap (outside of the US), where you can live off SS. Living as middle class in Thailand with no work beats living in abject poverty in the US while working your ass off.
This man is not a stupid man. Instead, he has adopted the “I’m dumb” mantra as an excuse not to be responsible for his spending. He’s not that different from a lot of people who don’t bother to self-reflect and work on their own behavior. He might do it eventually, but he’s got the personality that needs to be up against a wall before he’ll act. He’s very deep in denial as well. It’s a “safe” place for a lot of minds to live, but being that out of touch with reality catches up with you.
It's so sad to see old people in this situation. Dude wasn't reckless, he was just ignorant. Now he's ready to retire and realizes he is nowhere close.
I wish they would start teaching financial literacy in middle school. My life did not start well but the ONE thing I learned was how to invest. I started in my 20s using regular and ROTH IRAs now I have to teach others because no one ever taught them how to invest. It's very sad😢. The only way I learned was by going to the library and reading books and the Wall Street Journal and Barron's for free. Investing in your future should be taught as early as possible. Time is the number one variable to success.
😢 I'm so glad somehow this morning around 1:00 a.m. Eastern standard Time your channel came across my YouTube. I have been watched you for now 6 hours. I have contemplated my life my spending my lackluster credit history maybe in a first time home buyer. Budgeting my finances I have screamed I have cried I have cried I went silent I have toast and turned I have walked at 4:00 a.m. and got grapes out of refrigerator to come back to simply sit at the foot of my bed and still contemplate what the hell. You say credit One credit card is not good Well I have two. If they are the only credit card company offering you a credit card and you think or you've been told you need a credit card you take it what do you do? I can't come on your show to be reviewed so where do I start to get this thing together and get out of debt
One of them is going to have a medical problem and not be able to work. They will lose their house and be living in their car or in a field with homeless around Austin. If they are lucky they won’t end up in one of the most dangerous. That’s his future.

Somehow, even after a long conversation in this episode, we uncovered EVEN MORE wild stuff about his past in today's Post Show: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLe_q9axMaeTbjN0hy1Z9xA/join
This guy makes me crazy. He doesn't take ANYTHING serious. I would hate to be in his shoes.

Tim Waltz is on with Caleb!
God people are exhausting morons
realistic retirement plan for this guy: sale house, declare bankruptcy, move to Thailand
sounds like the guy was in SAVE, which was blocked by SCOTUS, hence the pause in charges.

his retirement plan should be moving to Thailand and living off SS
As a 27 year old, this was a huge wake up call for me.
The best bit is when he lies about taking the 1500 out for the hospital 58:25
Retail manager and only getting 21/hr. Sheesh.

Dude pays 75 a month on a cc that has 40 interest a month.
Its like you paying an extra 50% tax on your net income. Do that your whole life you obviously will be broke
Last month i had 28 bucks of non necessary expenditures 🎉
(A book and a tshirt)

Oh man, I actually really like this guy.
I hate to take solace in this dude's misfortune, but I am feeling much better about my position.

This guy is a loser. End of story
How you are allowed to have credit card after going bankruptcy? This should be illegal.
Wasn’t he on scamfish?
