Most holidays typically mean limited hours or outright closures for retailers, making people wonder whether their go-to grocery store is open.
There's nothing worse than showing up with your Trader Joe's with tote bags in hand, only to find a big Closed sign on the door.
So you might be wondering: “Is Trader Joe's open on Labor Day?”
On almost every day of the year, whether you're planning to stock up on staples or just need to grab a few things for your BBQ, Trader Joe's is a safe bet.
The only holidays Trader Joe's closes for are New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Trader Joe's does also close early on Easter Sunday, Independence Day, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Eve.

Trader Joe's Labor Day hours
Most Trader Joe's locations will be open for normal hours on Labor Day, typically 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Some Trader Joe's locations do not sell alcohol in the store, so you'll want to check your preferred store for limitations if adult beverages are on your list.
While some retailers will be closed on Labor Day, those that are open might even have extra-happy employees on site, since they could be getting premium pay.
Trader Joe's is said to be one of those companies that pays their employees a little extra for working when everyone else is playing. The company reportedly pays employees an extra $10 an hour if they work on Sundays or a holiday like Labor Day.
You can check details about your local store hours and on-site alcohol sales on the Trader Joe's website.
