A CPA has to earn 150 credits…it's not just about passing four exams!!!!….One has to have a master's degree or a CA degree with relevant work ex to get those 150 credits…People just bash someone without even having a basic knowledge of the course…Keeping the requirements of 150 credits in mind, a cpa is worth much more than an Indian CA

CA cost is Foundation to Final (Both Groups): ₹4,00,000–₹4,70,000.
Direct Entry (Skipping Foundation): ₹3,50,000–₹4,20,000
including private coaching and not adding reattempt fees and your most valuable time.
Reattempt Coaching: ₹10,000–₹50,000 per group total 2 groups in ca inter and ca final and additional expense like computer training fees, Orientation program etc,… but worth only if yu clear the final

My request to people pursuing CPA . Please don't start your introduction with " US equivalent of CA". It is not equivalent of anything and we all know that. Even the person who is doing CPA knows it is not as hard as a CA. But there are prospects and we just monetize it. We don't want to be worshipped like CA's. We are not out here to prove our credibility either. If the other person doesn't know what is a CPA, it is okay. Move on. The firm you want to get a job at knows what it is. That is enough.

He is totally wrong in salary as well as making equivalent to CA
In accounting perspective he can compare CA with CPA , but when it comes to statutory compliance CPA is not allowed to perform CA work so i dont think it is equivalent to CA

Its just that CA gives u the liberty (with hell lots of responsibilities) to practice on ur own rather than working under some MNCs or Big 4 . As well CAs can certify Indian co's FS…
