Only heard of Franks' July 2025 when I saw Franks crisps on offer in Sainsburys.
Tabasco is vastly superior to Frank's. I don't know how people can tolerate Frank's taste.
I tried to recreate that Franks buffallo buttryness wing sauce. I failed miserably. I don't know how they do it.

I was skimming over titles and thumbnails and accidentally read this as, “ How France is cranking out millions of gallons of hot sauce” and because I am a French speaker I thought how come I don’t know the name for hot sauce and why is that never been a big thing in the culture…😂smh lol
Franks is fine
I genuinely don't understand how it's so popular. As someone who does hot sauce competitions on the regular, some mild hot sauces that are genuinely better then Frank's are Smokin Mary's, Saracha, pretty much anything by Heartbeat, and Truff.
I just find that Tabasco, Frank's and its variants aren't really showcasing what hot sauce is and can be. That's just my take, please comment what your favourite mild hot sauces or even very hot one's are below so everyone reading can have a good array of hot sauces to try!

Western NY born and lived, wings are not buffalo wings without franks. The consistent flavor and quality is perfect for us mild folks out here who can't handle jalapenos too well.
