Aldi is committed to customer service
Aldi is still trying to carve out a name for itself in the grocery retail space.
Aldi has a presence in 38 U.S. states and a total store footprint of over 2,100 locations. But it's working on a major expansion.

The company announced earlier this year that it plans to open 225 new stores in 2025. And the ultimate goal is to add another 800 stores to its lineup by the end of 2028.
Not only is Aldi opening more stores, but it's also branching out into new markets. The company recently opened its first two stores in the Las Vegas area.
Aldi to open on Memorial Day but offers limited hours
A number of major retailers have made the decision to close on Memorial Day. Costco, for example, will not be opening to customers that day.
But many retailers understand that customers want to shop on Memorial Day, whether to stock up for the week or buy last-minute items for their holiday barbecues. So a good number of retailers are staying open on Monday but operating with different hours.

Aldi is one of them.
Although Aldi will be open for Memorial Day 2025, it will have limited hours that may vary by location. Customers looking to shop at Aldi on Monday should contact their local stores to see when they open and close.

- Trader Joe's
- Walgreens
- Walmart
All told, Aldi closures are rare, but the supermarket chain doesn't open to the public on the following days:
- New Year’s Day
- Easter Sunday
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
In addition to Memorial Day, Aldi offers limited hours on July 4, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Eve.
