10 years ago I still remember lakhs meant a lot. You could do a lot with the lakh but now it just means nothing. 10 lakh in 8 years is bs. A common man's bike today costs near to a lakh . For a house in the city 35 lakh is minimum. For a second hand car 3-4 is for a good car so that you don't have to go to worshop always. My parents will be really old by 8 years and I don't trust these government hospitals either. I have a brother in the 7th grade now. My mother and father is jobless. I have to save the money for brothers education as well. Even if I put all my salary to savings it's total useless in 8 or 9 years. Do only saving for 1 year not more. And don't invest in real estate either if you are in middle class
