I have NEVER had a savings account with withdrawal limits. Maybe it's why credit unions are better than banks. When my son wanted to keep his savings account while having the benefit of a debit card, he uses greenlight.
Know your account details. Like how much money you need to keep in there and how many transactions you can do. When i first got my debt, i over did it with the transactions and got a fee
Not the case in the Philippines There’s some savings account that gives you passbook or some have both
And usually US Dollar savings account have passbook only since you have to order the dollar from your bank so when withdrawing you have to notify your bank at least 3 business days in advance
Some banks also offers other foreign currency such as Sterling/ British pounds (but does accept Bank of England notes only so racist), Swiss francs, the euro, Japanese yen, Chinese renminbi/ yuan, Australian dollar, Canadian dollar and Hong Kong dollar Just visit their select branch to open it up the account and usually for the euro, Swiss francs and Hong Kong dollar doesn’t have any annual interest income Whilst Australian dollar and British pound comes usually .9000 % annually with +/-20% withholding tax
