The problem is most of the Shariah compliant funds do not care about geopolitics. For example, all of them have Tesla when Elon Musk has made pretty clear his Islamophobia and is actively and directly working against and sowing sentiments against our communities in the west. On top of that, many of the stocks are of companies who provide direct assistance and projects to the zionist colony in Palestine, sometimes worth billions. If these were factored in, yes the profits might be lower but it would be truly Islamically sound. Some of the scholars are passing fatawa making transactions that benefit the zionist colony haraam, mainly from the shi'a side of the ummah I have seen. I wish more work was done to make BDS friendly funds as well as shariah compliant, the two should go hand in hand.

I have invested in two non Shariah complaint shares. The money has grown. However it has not been able to beat inflation i.e. say I have invested ₹ 10,000 in the year 2021 which is now ₹ 12000 but given the inflation it should be in the year 2024 ₹ 15000 (just an example)
So am I liable to use the entire 12000 (given the value of the money invested is much more in the year 2024) or I have to give away ₹2000 (12000-10000) as charity. Kindly help sir. I am puzzled.
