I think diversification is more important as you reach retirement age when you no longer have earned income to invest. Especially adding more stable value/bonds to your portfolio to help reduce impact of sequence of returns risks. By your measure you’d probably say I’m over diversified as I have small, mid, and large cap funds plus an international. However, I don’t watch the market, I just always buy. So I don’t think I have the ability (or time) of WB to do a detailed analysis of each company I want to own.
I started with $5k just last week and now I've hit $57,590. I was having this exact conversation with my son the other night—generational wealth isn't just about getting money. It's about teaching everyone not only how to make it, but also how to maintain it. It does no good for me to provide for my family if they dont understand how to manage and sustain it. That's why I really love this video.
This is by far the clearest and most practical explanation of funds I’ve seen on YouTube. The birthday party analogy at the beginning was perfect. Thank you!
Index funds track a market index, mutual funds pool money to invest in stocks/bonds, ETFs are like index funds you can trade anytime, and hedge funds are high-risk, high-reward for rich investors
I especially loved the breakdown of trading time differences between Index Funds and the real-time flexibility of ETFs [09:42]. Even small details like the "2 and 20" fee model for Hedge Funds were neatly explained. This is truly a perfect roadmap for beginner investors. 📈

Amazing job bro.
This is what most beginners miss,it’s not about knowing every type of fund, it’s about choosing one simple strategy and staying consistent long term.
Finally a clear and simple explanation

Nice
Finally someone explained all four without making it confusing.

great video 🤩
I will not invest in any managed funds. I think it is stupid to pay people to invest your money. I invest my money in anyway fit.
