I’ve known but wow I have to get my fidelity account hong again and set up a recurring investment to them dang it I’m working not smart and to hard at this point and hong nowhere ok I’m getting my s together now

the fact that I can't get past step 1 without an "error" with their clearly broken app is a big enough red flag for me to say no to Fidelity.

9:48 Transferring money into Fidelity is easy. So far, for me, getting money out of Fidelity has been impossible! While "money" might be available to trade, my cash has to sit for 19 days before I can do anything with it. Example (message from Fidelity): "The remaining $8,098.19 of your recent deposit will be available to withdraw on September 4, 2025". Previously, they said Sept 29, 2025…now it has slid out to Sept 4th! Not happy.

I recently opened a Fidelity account. It took 3 days to get the bank EFT to work so I could transfer funds electronically. Then, after I transferred funds, Fidelity told me I could not withdraw any for 3 weeks. They did allow me to invest some. But why did they freeze withdrawals? Or not allow me to reverse the deposit? I had no warning of this. However, after a month, I am satisfied with how fast they do get my money working for me. And the SPAAX has a decent return without me having to actually buy or move the money myself. And since I don't have a smartphone, I did this with my desktop PC. NO APPS. And where do you get paper reports? All I see is .pdf's.

But I didn’t understand why you had to select Index instead of active to avoid fees if you’ve already selected the fund. Why would selecting FXIAX have an option for fees after you’ve already made the selection? I also didn’t understand why you said the purchase would take place because Fidelity let you use $100 while it settled, but the purchase was still delayed. Why was it still delayed ?😊

That app is horrible. I've been caught in a loop for the last two hours. It sends you a text code, but you can't look at the code without the app closing itself. These are the geniuses I'm supposed to trust with my investments?
