It's hard saying goodbye to summer, but that's what Labor Day means.
Kids are going back to school, the sun is setting a little bit earlier, and pumpkin spice is appearing literally everywhere.
If summer is your jam, you might be feeling sad about some of the above.
But the good news is that this weekend, many retailers are open their normal hours and having big Labor Day sales. It's a win-win if you're in the mood to shop.

Is Lowe's open on Labor Day?
If you're a homeowner, you know there's always something on the “to do” list. So if you're thinking of tackling a home project but need supplies from Lowe's, you're in luck.
Lowe's will be open for its normal hours on Labor Day, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
In fact, the home improvement retailer will not only welcome shoppers, but also offer a massive Labor Day sale.
This Labor Day weekend, Lowe's will have great deals on products including:
- Patio furniture
- Refrigerators and other appliances
- Lawn mowers and other yard and gardening supplies
- Special “Doorbuster deals” for members
Lowe's rarely closes
Lowe's is open on Labor Day and most other holidays.
However, Lowe's is typically closed on:
- Easter Sunday
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
Most Lowe's are open normal hours on every other day of the year, but it's a good idea to check your store's hours before heading out.
