Mythbuster 1: alag alag expense ratio kuch nahi hota. Wo percentage pe hota hai to average expense ratio same rahenge. To aap sirf utna expense ratio hi de rahe ho, koi fark nahi par aapko milega diversification in case a fund manager or fund house makes an error.
Mythbuster 2: overlap is not bad. Agar mere pas char fund hai aur sab xyz company me invest kar rahe he ya even 30% overlap bhi hai to uska matlab charo fund manager mante hai ke wo company achi hai. Sath hi, harek funnd manager apne hisab se sale karega to you've employed more than one fund manager to manage your funds.
