Although she’s only a few years past 30, Rachel Brosnahan is already emerging as one of the best actors of her generation, having garnered acclaim for her ability to add depth and humor to often charmingly complex characters.

Her breakthrough performance, as Miriam “Midge” Maisel in the Amazon Prime Series “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” earned her two Golden Globes, an Emmy, and three Screen Actors Guild awards, but Brosnahan hasn’t been content just to read lines someone else wrote.

In 2019, she started her own production company, Scrap Paper Pictures, to develop her passion projects, support talented artists, and add new voices to the mainstream narrative. The company inked a major deal with Amazon Studios and has already released a variety of content.

But buzz has been building around her latest turn in front of the camera, starring as Lois Lane in James Gunn’s reboot of Superman, which opens in theaters on July 11, 2025. It’s no surprise that the strong, independent, and intelligent character appealed to Brosnahan—and not just because she’s Clark Kent’s love interest.

In an interview with Elle, Brosnahan described her admiration for the iconic character’s relentless quest for the truth, saying, “I think [Lane's] endured because it’s inspiring to watch someone go to the ends of the earth for what they believe in.”

After all, not all superheroes wear capes; Lois Lane has been a role model for women ever since her first appearance in the DC Universe in 1938. The tenacious reporter goes on her own adventures, often risking her safety to uncover important stories, and even defeats the “bad guys” without Superman’s help. Brosnahan revealed to The Washington Post that out of all the roles she’s played, Lane’s personality most closely resembles her own.

So, how big of a fortune has Brosnahan built from her many, marvelous characters?

What is Rachel Brosnahan’s net worth in 2025?

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Brosnahan has an estimated net worth of $20 million in 2025. The online estimator reports that $11 million—more than half of her wealth—comes from just one role: “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.”

The rest is the accumulation of earnings from a variety of stage and screen roles, as well as her recently formed production company, Scrap Paper Pictures.

How much did Rachel Brosnahan make for Superman?

Lois Lane may be Superman’s intellectual equal, but in terms of salaries, Brosnahan comes out on top. Fandomwire disclosed that Brosnahan reportedly made $4 million for her role in the film, while yet-unknown actor David Corenswet, who plays Superman, only received $2 million.

Nicholas Hoult, who portrays the movie’s villain, Lex Luthor, took home $1 million, while the film's supporting actors each earned less than half a million dollars for their respective roles.
